Thanks Anthony for this copy of a blog posted by a gentleman who has done his homework. I've looked into this list, and while I was skeptical about some of his descriptions, he seems to have done a thorough job in understanding and interpreting the bill. I was trying to do this myself, but given that this fleck has done it, I give you Obamacare "footnotes".

If this is a concern for you, it's time to get involved.

I encourage you to go to the blog and read the comments left at /blog.flecksoflife.com. Many people have responded in an effort to debunk his interpretation, but he comes back with detailed and intelligent reasoning. Get to your representatives town hall meetings people. Ask questions. Confront them with the truths and tell them you say NO to this bill. You can get a list of all town hall meetings currently scheduled at hannity.com.

Gestapo coming to America. Careful, this fishy.

A new poll from Rasmussen sais this:

Fifty-four percent (54%) of Americans oppose any further funding for the federal “cash for clunkers” program which encourages the owners of older cars to trade them in for newer, more fuel-efficient ones.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 33% of adults think Congress should authorize additional funding to keep the program going now that the original $950 million allocated for it has run out.

With polls showing the majority of Americans CLEARLY do NOT support this program, why then did congress pass an emergency act to supply the program with 2 billion more American dollars to this program?
I live in the 7th congressional district of New Jersey. My representative is republican congressman Leonard Lance. Do you know who your representative is? Leonard lance is, at first glance, a Moderate Republican. But when I took a look at his voting record I found his voting record dictates he does not maintain conservative values at all. This Republican voted against a bill intended to cut the budget deficit by trillions over the next 5 years. He voted for a 90% tax of bonuses paid to executives working for companies who recieved TARP funds. A 90% TAX! He also voted to extend Cash for Clunkers. When polls show the majority of Americans are against it, this representative chose to vote against the Majority of the people he represents. Who knows, maybe the majority in my district wanted this extension. But if these Congressmen and women were representing the people in their respective districts, this extension clearly would not have passed.
People, you MUST contact your representatives and share your opinions on these bills. If we contact them, they have no reason not to represent us. But it is up to you to get on the phone or your computer and call or email your representatives. Call your Congressmen, call your Senators. Tell them you are against Health Care "reform". Tell them to focus on cutting fat from the budget, cutting programs, balancing the budget, reducing debt, and protecting us from enemies, foriegn and domestic. Speaking of enemies, it appears I may be an enemy of the state for my views of our President, and this government. This from the White House website:

So am I to believe if I have a conversation with someone who opposes this Tyrannical health care bill, I am supposed to report it to the white house? This sounds like something from a tyrannical government like Cuba, Columbia, or Iran. What, exactly, does the White house plan to do with this "fishy" information?

LIES

I feel confident in saying, in my opinion, Barack Obama is lying. Democrats, Republicans, Politicians, tax-payers, the media, the White House, it doesn't matter who you are. We all know he is lying. He knows he is lying. Government is about a $14 trillion a year operation. Just this year we'll have a 1.3 trillion dollar deficit. Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid are all broke. We have debt in the amount of 11.6 trillion dollars. Social security is anywhere from $7 - $11.9 trillion in debt. Medicare and Medicaid have a whopping $34 trillion in unfunded liabilities. So we are in debt over $11 trillion, we have UNFUNDED liabilities in an amount exceding $40 trillion dollars. Let me ask you this. Why is the biggest entitlement program in the history of the world even being discussed right now? Why is it even being considered? Every person in America would have to pay $31,000 a year right off the top, for the next 75 YEARS, just to pay off our current debt. And now our President wants to add the biggest unfunded monstrosity of a bill the world has ever seen? And if that isn't enough, he expects us to believe he's only going to tax the top 5%??? It is an insult to our intelligence for him to assume we are just going to swallow what he is trying to feed Americans. Two of his Treasury advisors got on the air recently and admitted that "can't rule out" the possibility of tax hikes. We have countless famous quotes of Obama saying during his campaign that 95% of Americans will recieve tax cuts, even as much as $1000. It was an obvious lie then, and with every day he proves it to be a lie. So while Obama's advisors are hinting at tax hikes, the white house maintains it wont raise taxes. Without all of these ridiculous bills, the budget increases by 11% this year. How does he expect to pay for all this?? By taxing the top 5%?? If that's the case, how long will the top 5% remain at the top? The FACT is that this President rode a wave of lies to get elected. He has no plan to pay for this health care bill. This Government and it's policies, and it's budget, are unsustainable. This from the Congressional budget Office's website, " Under current law, the federal budget is on an unsustainable path, because federal debt will continue to grow much faster than the economy over the long run." The only logical explaination for Obama is that he is lying. Everyone will have to bare the burden imposed on us by a government that does not operate for the people.

What more could one say? The policies and agenda of this administration act against the wisdoms of our country's first leaders, and founders. To deny these words of Abraham Lincoln, a man who made hard decisions, who acted for nothing but the freedom and prosperity of his country, is to lead this nation from Freedom and Liberty, to Tyranny.

Obama: The greatest Threat to America

Barack Obama despises America. He despises what this country represents. Every day he speaks, he leaves a trail of evidence to support the argument. Yesterday, Barack said he was not looking for Victory in Afghanistan. Then he cited the Japanese surrender to MacArthur inaccurately:

"I'm always worried about using the word 'victory,' because, you know, it invokes this notion of Emperor Hirohito coming down and signing a surrender to MacArthur", he said.

Well, first of all, Hirohito did NOT come down to sign the surrender to MacArthur. The Emperor was allowed to remain on the Throne, and the Japanese allowed to maintain their traditions. Japan was represented by officials, and then General MacArthur simply presided over the ceremony. Shigemitsu signed in representation of the civil Government, while General Umezu signed for the Military. His lack of knowledge is appauling. What's odd is Obama would suggest this moment in American History was a bad time for our Nation's history. I suppose he forgot about the 2350 soldiers and civilians who were killed at Pearl Harbor.
We have 59,000 soldiers in Afghanistan currently. Do you think they want to hear their President does not want Victory? Does he blame us for the 2974 people killed in NY on 9/11? There are differences between Pearl Harbor, and the World Trade Center. Japan was a nation, a clear enemy. But the outcome is no less important. Victory must be achieved against this modern enemy. And our President, OUR representative to the rest of the world doesn't want to use the term. More fuel for our enemies.

Victory is defined as a successful ending of a struggle or contest. Who does NOT want Victory over the taliban and Al Qaeda? Apparently, U.S. President Barack Obama. Could anyone spare a spine for this man? Maybe a history book?

Taking our health, insuring no wealth, and other concerns

To pass the Health Care Bill which now sits before congress, would fundamentally change America to a Socialist State. We will lose freedoms. A few points:


-This bill would, for the first time in America's history, allow for taxerpayer-funded abortions.

-This bill will force most Americans into a government-run program. If you refuse the program, you will have to pay a penalty to the IRS for not taking the insurance.

-This bill would raise the average top tax rate to 52%, which would put us above the top tax rates of many European countries.

- The congressional budget office estimates the program costing 1.3 Trillion dollars over the next ten years. Who knows what the cost will be beyond that time frame.

- Obama recently promised if this bill would add even 1 cent to deficit, he won't sign it. Just another lie from a man who has done nothing but lie since he was put on the ticket. All evidence shows this will add billions, if not trillions, to the deficit.

- Obama says his program is going to save us money, yet congress is considering raising $591 Billion in new taxes to curb the cost of the program, including a surtax of up to 5.4% on individuals making over $250,000, or houshoulds making more than $350,000.

- Businesses with payrolls over $250,000 will be forced to provide insurance for employess. If not, they will have to pay an 8% tax penalty. This will lead to lower wages, and fewer jobs.

- If this bill is passed, the government will take almost half (46.4%) of every dollar earned by small businesses.

- The politicians writing the bill, have written in an exemption for themselves. They will have a seperate program from the rest of america. What is their stake in it?

Regardless of what people think, this is the greatest healthcare system in the world. It has it's faults, but it is the best system which exists in the world today. We do not want to make the same mistakes European countries have made in socializing medicine. We do that, and we lose a significant piece of our freedom.

We, as citizens, cannot allow a man who has appointed 27 CZARS to continue to accrue power in the form of these outrageous, unconstitutional, and un-american bills. Call the blue dog democrats, call your local reps. Tell them to vote no on this atrocity.

Are you scared yet?

um.....Does this frighten anyone? Hugo Chavez is the embodiment of everything that is a threat to our way of life in America. He represents a threat to civil society, a threat to Freedom, and has shown nothing but hostility towards the U.S. Chavez referred to President Bush as the devil, and recently called Obama a "poor ignorant person". He has repeatedly threatened America, threatened to attack us, and continues to show the US nothing but contempt. Yet here is Obama, hand in hand with this Tyrant smiling away. Poor ignorant person. What does he think he can accomplish? I has just thrown gasoline on the fire. Does he not realize how Chavez is going to use these images for his own propaganda?
And all of this after apologizing to islam, apologizing to all muslims, apologizing for America all around the world, and just the other day, apologizing to Mexico for causing the drug wars. Out of curiousity Obama, do we have any problems with our US-Canadian border? And out of curiosity, how many of those grenade launchers and automatic weapons used by the cartels are on US streets? None? oh, that's because they're ILLEGAL here idiot! The black market is where they get those weapons! And that's already illegal. The US is not to blame for escalating drug wars idiot! But, I have a simple solution. Lock down our Borders. The Mexican president has given us the perfect opportunity to shut down our border. By locking down our borders (which we are perfectly capable of doing) we cut of the flow of drugs north, and money south, as well as solve the majority of the illegal immigration problem. There, now we are no longer supplying revenue for the Cartels. It becomes Mexico's problem again. But that's beside the point. STOP APOLOGIZING!!!
So now Obama has taken yet another step toward weakening our position in the world. He has taken another step toward making our allies feel like there left out in the cold. He has taken another step toward getting us attacked again. During the Clinton administration we were attacked every two years culminating in 9/11 at the Beginning of the Bush Administration. Under Bush, we have been safe for 7 years without an attack. Now we have a president who is quickly becoming the weakest president in history. He does not understand the role of President of the US. He does not comprehend his primary role is to Protect this country. By his actions he is validating our enemy's hate for us. Images like this should strike fear into the heart of every american.
